I'm interested in a WW2 flight sim now I have a decent VKB Gladiator joystick. Any ideas? The later IL-2 games seem worth considering.

IL-2 sounds an exceptional game. As well as the base game, there are 48 DLCs available for it, worth £1,076! That should keep you busy, should you fork out for it.

Possible alternatives could be "Warbirds - World War II Combat Aviation", "Ace Combat 7 - Skies Unknown", or "B-17 Flying Fortress : The Mighty 8th Redux".

Ace Combat 7 is in a 80% sale at the moment, on Steam, so that might be worth a plunge just for the offer.

I was gifted IL-2 and some DLC (go figure lol) when I got a joystick for Christmas. Not really my thing, but the graphics are gorgeous. The planes are really hard to fly, but then I am something of a klutz. I do mess with it from time to time and I am learning. If you are looking for a WW2 air combat simulator, that one seems to fit the bill.

Hope you find one you like. :-)
