Solved 24H2 In-Place upgrade fix for RUFUS v4.5 created 24H2 install USB


As for that version of Windows, apparently SFC /SCANNOW issues were resolved but there are still bugs.

Why do you want to use an insiders preview of Windows 11?

Yeah, I got this version through MCT. I've got Macrium backup images of win. 10 and also the 24H2 26100.2300. Hopefully, they work if need be.

I usually keep track on Windows update and keep pausing them as far ahead as I can. There may be a better way though.

You could freeze the build at Build: 26100.1742 (The ISO download, not Media Creation Tool)
I don't have any of those bugs.

They’re automatic updates & will be in your Windows Update. After you’ve upgraded with Rufus.
Here is the thread for the latest build update. I am not convinced all is well so personally I’ll be holding off.
