Hi Members, has anyone know of either a floating app or widget that overlays the volume control permanently on the Windows 11 desktop, or maybe something that can be screen edge swiped.

I find on my Android Samsung phone there is a floating 'Acessibility' widget, does Windows have the same kind of think

Thanks for any help, or directions.

I don't know exactly what you are looking for but the Volume₂ add-on has a configurable mode where thers's a floating volume slider that appears anywhere you want on the screen while you change the system volume. I used to use this feature to float the volume control in the lower left side of my screen, but I have have since configured it to where it is not there anymore even though I still use Volume₂ since it shows the percentage volume in the tray at all times and I like that.

Thanks bob3d, I have seen the Volume² app but am not sure if it will overlay over any other programs permanently.

I play YouTube videos at full screen playback, but the YouTube playback volume control through the browser doesn't match the system Volume control.

In Android I can have a permanent home screen volume widget that is permanently overlayed, or tap on an Accessibility edge bubble to control the system volume.

If I have a YouTube video playing full screen through the browser in Windows 11 GO tablet, and swipe in from the right screen edge what shows up is the notification panel which doesn't include the system volume control.
