Solved all Browsers blocking certain websites even Microsoft login

Hi I am still trying to help a friend who has a Win 11 computer. The computer works ok sometimes it is switched on but then the next time it is switched on it will not access certain secure sites that it did before . It times out or says connection is not secure. I have checked and changed the settings which I thought might be the cause and also given the computer a static address in the router. It is the same problem whether connected via cable or wifi One time it works flawlessly the next it will not access certain websites. I am totally at a lost to know what to check to find a cause. The router in a Livebox 5 on the orange network. If I connect the computer to my network it works flawlessly. I am just going around in circles please help

Forgot to mention that a Win 10 computer and tablet conected to same network and have no problems accessing any sites on internet. Just this computer

I suggest you list the make and model of your friend's computer. Which browser is he using? Have you tried with Chrome, Edge and Firefox?
Try a factory reset. Is the wifi secured by WPA or WEP or is it open?

Where does he live as the Livebox is no longer available here in the UK.

It is the same in all the browsers that I have tried. We are in France the livebox 5 and others are still active here It is just so frustrating that it works sometimes and not others. I thought it might be the router DNS as there several reports of similar problems if you do a search but no solutions.

Have you tried clearing cached website content in the browser(s)?

Yes and I have tried all the suggestions and no change. Wiganken say clear the cache I have cleared everything that I can in the browsers and networks It is just peculiar that it works sometimes you switch on and then not other times I have checked all the settings I know plus re-set the computer now 3 times. I think it is something to do with the router DCHP or DNS addressing as when it will not access a site it says network not secure

Have you factory reset the router?

For any further help you should list exactly what steps you have taken. Or do you expect us to read all the previous posts?

Yet you didn't have the courtesy to tell anyone that and instead opted to create a new thread.

You also didn't provide any FRST logs to get a greater understanding of what is installed and how everything is configured. I doubt you even bothered to try Safe Mode w/ Networking.

I have tried so many different settings and suggestions that I have lost track of what I have done. I think I have reached the limit of my computer knowledge and it is Time for my friend to employ a professional. I thought I would give it one more try before I advised her Hence to duplicate posts. Reset the router several times. Regards

If it's not working correctly with your friends router nor yours then that would suggest the Wlan card is on the way out to my thinking.
