i genuinely love the campfire guitar look, Even better if it has campstories to tell! I've got an ibanez grand orchestra, Doesn't have a scratchplate and recently im noticing im adding some lovely wear to the body which i absolutely love!

My Fender guitar, Govee neon lights and guitar wall holder were all purchased from Amazon. 🤭
The guitar of course is from a 3rd party seller but I know that particular store 15 mins away from my place (Cosmo Music store).
The wall holder is from one of those chinese named seller but it does not matter. It is not an electronic product.
The Govee light is sold and shipped by Amazon.

My son-in-law has it set up so that every time his credit card is used, he get pinged on his phone. He always knows when my daughter is going to use the card; he's not watching her, but knows immediately when an unauthorized purchase has happened and can take corrective measures.

I don't know how many times my daughter has said, "He's gonna scream when he gets pinged for this one!"

I thought this was a standard practice most places, Im uk based but its been a common thing here for years as far as im aware(I worked for a bank)

I don't get pinged when I make a purchase. And I don't hear pings going off at the checkout lane . . . I would assume one would have to activate the pings?

Yeah sorry, It isn't always an automatic thing, usually can be turned on/off via the relevant banking app/online banking perhaps too, Mobile apps in banking terms usually are a slimmed down version of the web version( Cant speak for the world but the uk generally). If i make a purchase at POS or if i transfer money or receive money i get a notification via the app

I'm with Lloyds Bank (UK) and get an SMS whenever a direct debit or standing order is paid out. It's just the bank trying to absolve itself from any responsibility for losses. Of course, it is promoted as a service to me. It's in the bank's interest to intervene as quickly as possible, since they are often liable for a customer's losses unless they can prove his negligence. I realise that this makes banking a little more expensive for all of us but that's a good trade-off like most insurance - we all share the risk.

Most things we buy are made in China so we just can't assume things made there are junk. We need to avoid scam sellers and the junk they are selling. We used to assume that reading reviews was a good way to judge what to buy. The problem is I don't trust a lot of the reviews I read. There is no way to tell the validity of anything a reviewer says. Even a lot of info about sellers sometimes seems too sterile and not helpful.

There is nothing wrong with Chinese sellers on Amazon. The problem is that there are too many of them and too few more established sellers that have time to earn a reputation as a trusted seller.

It's actually not that bad putting it up and getting it down. My desk isn't too deep or maybe I just have a long reach. But I doubt the holders can carry electric guitars for long.

I have it setup for me and my wife. Not to check on what she buys but to get an early notice for any fraudulent activity. I did catch her by surprise one day. Comcast sends me a notice for any purchases and she didn't know it. She purchased a movie and when I got home I told her that I knew about her ordering the movie. I kept her guessing for awhile about how I knew. I finally told her that Comcast had sent me a text.

I don't know why you'd assume it was a squire purely because it was from amazon..
I'd look at the model number/serial number on the body and go from there.
