Most of the really useful tools seem to be basically 1 year licences, and presumably will cease to work after one year, although it does not specifically state that.

Probably the most useful is AOMEI Backupper Pro, but I already have a Pro licence personally.
I do not use it for image backups very often, but it is the only imaging tool I know that also has file syncing features which is handy now and then. Worth installing just to try this feature.

Wise Care is a bit different i.e. the licence is perpetual but you do not get any updates. I have a couple of tools licenced like this.
These are more useful than 1year limited leases but slight issue is inability to transfer to a new pc at some point in future but hey, the tool is free.

Tips 【IMPORTANT!】
1.The download link is always available to be downloaded for everyone.
2.After downloading, run the installer and launch the software. No registration code is required.
3.It is a special version which has no using-time limitation, no free-update.

Recmaster's terms are a bit ambiguous.

This suggests it will continue in perpetuity but with no updates - not clear though.

In the end, the offer is quite generous if you think of (most of) them as basically 1 year free trials. Problem with most trial periods is they are not long enough to test the software thoroughly and be confident that you will ultimately be prepared to pay for the tool.

Thank you for the information and the link provided. I downloaded AOMEI Backupper Pro which I already had a license on another computer and I also downloaded AOMEI Partition Assistant Pro which could come in handy and be used a few times within a year. Thank you again.

Isn’t that standard now? Possibly useful for sending to a device.
I tried the apps I don’t have, downloaded a key. Kept nagging me about something, starting an account and upgrading to pro or something. Uninstalled them.
