Solved BSOD at random intervals.

Hi All,

PC (self-made, parts in profile) BSOD / hard locking at very random intervals.

XMP Profile was enabled and has been switched off. No other overclocks in place in bios afaik. Not aware of any overclock in Windows? EDIT Sorry if it wasnt clear, the BSOD happened after everything was set as default.

BIOS Updated to the latest stable version, bsod still occurs.

Cinebench 14.0 tested on GPU and CPU Single / Multi cores and passed with no trouble.

Any help is very greatly appreciated, V2 Log's attached in onedrive.

Hi, windows deactivated when i upgraded my bios. had to hunt around for the key. that link is 404.

The first V2 was no longer available.

The new V2 is missing many files.

Uninstall any non-Microsoft
a) antivirus
b) firewall
c) drive encryption

Post a new V2 share link.

Run ACP:

fltmc filters

Post results.

You appear to be running a Windows system that's not properly licensed. You are licensed via the VOLUME_MAK channel which is only available to corporate customers...

i formatted windows, then bought a license from amazon. everything seems ok now! thanks! and thats the end of that chapter. time to go home.

There was less than 24 hrs of collected log files and there were no unexpected shutdowns and restarts reported.

really? jeez, I don't know :S It was locking up consistently. The only thing that seems to have been fixed it is a format and reinstall.

What I changed was I went from an RTX 2080 to an AMD RX7800 XT, and did boot into safe mode, and used DDU, however, I don't know if that changed anything or not. The PC seems to be behaving normally now, so all good

I do appreciate you're help! I don't know where the other license info came from, I only imagine its on of the CD key resellers I used in the past that sold me a dodgy key perhaps?

Post a new V2 share link on 11/6 or 11/7.

If there are no BSOD or unexpected shutdowns and restarts then that will complete the troubleshooting.

2) List the installed AV

3) Open ACP > Copy and paste: fltmc > post a share link displaying the command with results
