If you use a MS Account, Microsoft ToDo should do what you want as it can schedule a reminder monthly. You can open Microsoft ToDo directly from the app or from the bottom of the calendar app is a checkmark icon. When you click it, it switches to ToDo. If you do not have ToDo go to MS store and search for Microsoft ToDo

These settings, expand 'At time of event' and ' Don't repeat' ?

Oooh, no. I don't want a MS account. Was hoping just the calendar could do this.

I dunno. Maybe create yourself a free AOL mail account and use its calendar.

For purposes I need a weekly or monthly warning for (or a warning on any date) I use FreeAlarmClock.

Its downloadable in a installer and in a portable version and in the setup you can select almost any language.
It has quit a large window when you get a warning, that is not changeable, but I don't mind that.

This is an example of the warning I just programmed:
The text "Wekker" is settable per warning.

Edit: maybe I should have used the word "alert" in stead of "warning"...

Maybe it would be worthwhile for other members reading this, if you you describe how you did it?

Over 15 years ago, my wife had ".msn" account. She supposedly got rid of it and went with a ".yahoo.com" email. But it seems that she left a monthly calendar setting that alerted her to the need for Sand Clear (this is used by horse people), which was redirected to her new Yahoo account. Now, even though she passed away almost 2 years ago, her Yahoo account gets a reminder to get Sand Clear, every month. I tried to cancel the ".msn" account, but the say I don't have enough credentials. I guess I just have to set up a filter for it.

This computer is connected to my IC-735 radio.
In the screenshot, you'll see after clicking on "repeat" the option becomes available from daily to even yearly reminders.

It's like a virtual Ink Blotter for your PC! ;-)
Hide-able with Ctrl/Alt/H
It's a backend overlay so it doesn't interfere with desktop functionality

Looks interesting, but the one red flag I have with it is this...
"Made by Beijing Xiaowei Cloud Service Technology"

I prefer to keep my private info out of Beijing, especially in today's world.
