WinRAR is used the most, but when I need better compression, 7-Zip is what I use.

I bought WinRAR years ago, but over the years I have moved over to 7-Zip. It can handle more file formats than I will ever need, plus I can get much better compression ratios with it compared to WinRAR. WinRAR UI and context menus are much better than 7-Zips though.
