How do I stop Google knowing my location from IP address?

I have paused location history in Google settings, and turned off location services in W11. Am using latest Edge and W11.

Any help appreciated.

VPN.

The better VPN's support "Tunnelling" so you can exclude apps from VPN control - so access to your local shared storage devices etc is maintained or access to specific country limited content. NordVPN has some decent cheap deals around -- works very well, fast, loads of servers and has the "Tunnelling" feature.

VPN's can involve extra overhead but I've found with NordVPN it's minimal.

I'm using Nordvpn currently using a UK server so I can get on BBC iPlayer access to all the Courts at the Wimbledon Tennis without interruptions -- on the main BBC1 / BBC2 channels (available outside the UK) it's a nightmare watching the Tennis as they keep in the middle of a match keep switching around or go to some meaningless match or stop for some nonsensical Scottish coronation which I think even 90% of the Scots themselves were totally uninterested in.
