I don't really understand "Native RAR, TAR, 7Z, and other archive types support".
They're just file extensions.
Will there be support for ZStandart&LZ4 ?

23H2 will be using the open-source libarchive package.
If they don't support those formats out of the box, it won't be hard for MS or someone to eventually add them.

The library also detects and handles any of the following before evaluating the archive:
  • uuencoded files
  • files with RPM wrapper
  • gzip compression
  • bzip2 compression
  • compress/LZW compression
  • lzma, lzip, and xz compression
  • lz4 compression
  • lzop compression
  • zstandard compression

Yes, they are "just" file extensions, but those file extensions indicate a particular file format that any application working with those extensions will need to understand.

The point here is that File Explorer will now nderstand how to actually display files within TAR, 7Z, etc. files. Prior to this, you would need to obtain some other third party app to open such files or extract their contents.

There is no such thing as just tar, usually tar.gz, tar.bz2.
