Solved How to keep edge active and not go to sleep?

it refuses to work again after PC sits for maybe 8 hours.
PC stops responding
I either walk away for 5 minutes and come back or I end up pushing the power button and restarting the PC

So on the restart, PC boots in under a minute, I load Chrome, everything is good.
I click a link in the start and Edge loads and it's working perfectly even with reopening 40 tabs or more.

Edge is like turning off resources for tabs if it sits unused a few hours?

It has gotten to be a major pain.

I just turned off sleeping tabs
Maybe will help
There is no problem with 40 or more tabs staying, everything works fine.

I don't really get why as when starting EDGE again, it will reload all tabs instantly and they all work.

But sleeping tabs do not work for a long long time and bring down the whole PC to where nothing responds at all.

Well, it might be fixed. this AM after an overnighter, the PC worked fine, no weird stops respoinding.
You can see the tab row open I have right now

Part of that is doing search, then click always opens a new tab
So one search doubles tabs up
Click on MSN news story almost always opens a new tab.

After a lot of tabs open, they run off to the right and dissapper. Only way I can see them is close tabs.

Couple EDGE updates later, it is unsolved. PC acting similar overnight to what it was before turning sleeping TABS off.
Problem has happened again couple nights in a row.
My PC is not set to sleep.
Even with sleeping tabs off, something changed on their end with the EDGE updates.

This am, I flipped sleeping tabs on and off and on and off to see if that does anything, and I left feedback to MS describing my problem.

Other than that the PC works great even with many tabs open, all day long.
PC only ever has a problem with edge tabs after an overnight period when I sleep

This AM, after flipping it back and forth couple times yesterday, all the tabs are working and fine, no slowdown, instant access.
I suppose I could add more RAM to the board, it only has 12gb.

But if it works why change things. At times, something happens with updates, I have noticed this over the years.
I have SSD in this PC too.
