I had to find the correct driver by my processor type. Brought me to the right page! I tried the exe. first and the geniuses at Microsoft prevented me from installing a generic Intel Graphics driver! Wouldn't be hilarious if Microsoft kept its customised driver up to date.

Then I downloaded the zip file and I was able to get the driver installed through Device Manager. Rebooted and everything works! In an ideal world. we would rely on OEM to keep their drivers up to date but they don't.

A lot of people have issues when they install an incorrect graphics driver! Always make note of your processor type and make sure your graphics driver matches it or you will have more problems than its worth. Stay on an OEM driver unless you need to fix an issue that requires installing an updated driver.

The OEM will block you from installing a generic driver by warning you the exe. you're running isn't validated for your system and the installer exits. If you want to upgrade, you will have download the zip. file, unzip it and install the driver through the Device Manager.

Its can be dangerous when Microsoft insists their OEM drivers are right for you and a downgrade of theirs messes things up. If you need to install a driver, that should be up to you and not up to them.

When using the new drivers for 11th Gen, does Arc Control do anything? Admittedly, for the past few versions, I have deselected it during installing because I thought it only applied to 12th and 13th-gen products and actual ARC cards. Should I keep doing this or does Arc Control actually do something with 11th Gen integrated graphics? Thanks.

I doubt it. I parked on 31.0.101.3111 and have hidden the subsequent updates as they've just introduced stuff that you feel isn't really intended for the 11th Gen Iris. The A-Series stuff has been generally received as buggy and at best a 'Work In Progress'. Came here to see if anyone was brave enough to have installed build 3943 and if it suffered the same annoyances?

Had to update my Intel Graphics Driver after the OEM one was blocked by Memory Integrity.

All is well now!

I have an Intel NUC with a i5-10210u CPU. The updated video driver had a note attached that this driver would not interfere with
any vendor modified driver.
