MX Creative Console & Actions Ring
  • Actions Ring is a customizable on-screen overlay that lets you quickly access and customize app actions, keyboard shortcuts, and adjustments. Previously available only on MX devices, it’s now accessible on all compatible Logi Options+ mice and keyboards.
Bug fixes
  • Dialpad's dial & roller configuration controls are now disabled when the LogiPluginService is not running.
  • Fixed a crash that could occur while the plugin service was shutting down.
  • Fixed a rare crash caused when restarting the plugin service.
  • Other bug fixes and improvements.

  • Actions Ring now offers three display size options: Small, Medium (default), and Large.

Wait, I stand corrected, it will highlight the buttons from a distance but won't activate them unless I physically click them.

Edit: stand corrected again lol, they will click from a distance as well if you click. Guess that's normal behavior.

My max distance that it will click is approximately 1.5 inches or 3.81 centimeters from each button.

So I just got my MX Master 4, literally took 2 minutes to setup as all my settings from the 3S automatically transferred over including the actions ring and buttons. The exceptions were the scroll wheel button which I use to shift wheel mode and the little button behind it that I use for Smart Actions for four boot up apps when needed. I set the haptic feedback to low for now just to play with although I don't really see any use for it but maybe just a fun gimmick, we'll see.

Had a 50% charge so charging it now. Curious why the USB-C Logi Bolt receiver since most PC's have more USB-A ports. AI says USB-C connection provides faster and more reliable pairing with compatible devices, don't know if that's true. I have two USB-C ports on the machine it's plugged into so both those ports are in use now.

To me the size is almost identical to the 3S and I don't notice the slightly increased weight it supposedly has. The side horizontal scroll button is a little more accessible. I do find a very noticeable slicker feel and it's a little harder to pickup cause of the slicker material but no big deal. As Edwin mentioned everything you can do with the 4 you can do with the 3S. Seems like a good quality mouse though and time will tell on the wear and tear.
