Assuming your device is under warranty, To get to someone reasonably knowledgeable in support you have to demand to speak to a live human being and then most likely again demand that your case be escalated to next level support. Chat support or even first level support usually won't cut it with hardware issues. You'll go around in circles and pull your hair out but that's just the way it is. Most of the OEMs work the same way, but HP is one of the very worst to get any service from.I cannot contact HP online again until Tuesday, and am in any case very sceptical regarding any further advice from their technical assistance.
