Phone Link for iPhone is just plain sh!te, I said in another thread it's like throwing scraps to the dog. It's shockingly bad.

I've been trying to use Phone Link App with an iPhone since it was released on the Insider DEV Channel with no success. Now it's on the baseline release and I'm in no better shape. At least now I can get the phone paired (not an easy effort) in Win 11.

• I have notifications showing up both in the notification area of the taskbar and in the Phone App itself.
• I have a "Messages" tab but no contacts synced even though it's selected on both the phone and in the app.
• I cannot send any messages on the app as there are no contacts nor will a phone number work.
• I see no messages, either in history or inbound on the app.
• I am unable to make any calls on the app "calls tab" as I have a message asking if I've "already set a mobile device up with another app?". This message is somewhat ambiguous as it doesn't state if the "mobile device" is paired with the phone or the PC. I have nothing else paired on the phone and it's kind of unclear what I may have "attached" to the PC via BT.
  • I'm using a BT "dongle" on the PC, and a Logitec "Unifying" dongle with a wireless keyboard and mouse. I assume this is BT technology, but knowing Logitec it's probably proprietary. I'm wondering if there's some kind of a test looking for any "device" that might use BT that is conflicting with the phone app.

If the phone app must have no other (potential) BT "devices" allowed in order to use it this is isn't really useful if I have to disable and disconnect everything BT related in order to get the phone app to work.

I have pretty much reset and restarted the phone, the app, and the PC as well as turning on and off BT on both sides and still have the same problem(s). Seems to me the iPhone portion of this app needs more work. (I hope someone from Microsoft is listening).

Anyone have any possible solutions?
