Is it possible to give my contextmenu a dark-bleu color , only for the contextmenu-items Im pointing at with mouse ?
They were light-grey in Win10 , after upgrading to 11 , they are almost invisible !
Anyone has an idea how( ?) to change it ( maybe a regedit-solution ?)
Can Stardock fix this ........?desktop-settings.jpgpointing at screensaver-settings-almost invisible !.jpg

I just found another plus for StartAllBack. It gives easy access to turning on or off System Icons on the Taskbar. I found out when I was trying to help a user get the clock to show on the Taskbar.

Hello again!
Is it possible to speed up "Open submenus when I pause on them"?
I've put a couple of custom folders in the right panel and have set them to "menu" and also have the open submenus by hovering option enabled, but there is approximately a 1 sec delay between hovering and expanding, which IMO is too slow. I love how snappy StartAllBack is otherwise when pressing the start icon, especially compared to the extremely laggy start menu in Windows 10.

I just discovered it myself--so impressed with the author doing Microsoft's job that I went ahead and bought it for $4.99... Now that I see there's a dedicated thread for it, I'll comment here from now on!

When I installed Win11 Pro 22543.1000 today, I got a popup from the software telling me that it might not work under this build and to keep that in mind if I wanted to try and run it. But it's working fine--no worries. (The Stardock software I tried earlier didn't work in moving the taskbar to the top of the screen, which is what I wanted the software for.) Everything else seems a bonus... For instance, it's great to be able to open the taskbar's context menu and run the Task Manager right from there, again. Lots of little things this program addresses that you don't much think about until Microsoft decides you don't need them anymore.

Depends what folder is pinned there..., my Music folder is pinned there with about 900 folders full of mp3's..., so, yeah...,
... other links should open instantly though...,
try lowering MouseShowDelay and MenuHoverTime reg settings...

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop > MenuShowDelay - set lower, mine's at 8

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Mouse > MouseHoverTime - (same - 8)

This partly worked, but it only affects the first hover. If I click on start, and then hover a folder it now expands immediately. But if I then move my mouse to a different folder also set to expand when hovering, I get the same old delay. I only have around 5 shortcuts in each folder.

Have you tried Dark Mode? My Context menus in Win11 dark mode are darkish blue-gray. Looks like you are not running with dark mode turned on everywhere it can be...

Anyone experiencing random Explorer.exe crashes/restarts after using StartAllBack?

I am getting random explorer restarts but not sure it's because of StartAllBack or some other tweak I did.

A quick Google search show that explorer.exe crashes and restarts are very common in Windows 11.
I've seen numerous reports, but very few (if any) solutions. The only verified problem that I have seen is for people who are using Internet Download Manager. And in particular, Internet Download Manager + Firefox Integration Module.

Do you have any related crash dumps in your %localappdata%\CrashDumps folder?

Explorer goes into a crash loop for me if, when I reset SAB, it gets stuck on the Windows 11 Command Bar style setting.

I noticed you can only invoke the Touch Keyboard once per session cuz on loss of mouse focus it hides, and there's no way to pin it to the Taskbar.
