Solved USB showing?

The one in RED is the Recovery partition.

But for questions like this... it's better to post a Minitools Partition Wizard (free) screenshot.

The 952MB is probably the Recovery partition. I don't know what the 604MB is.
You need to wait for someone like @Try3 before you start messing with those partitions.

When you upgrade a Windows system the process normally creates a new Recovery Partition, but doesn't remove the old partition. The latest Recovery Partition is usually the one immediately after the Windows (C:) Drive, which is where it takes the space from (Partition 4 in your case), but if you look inside the two Recovery Partitions you should be able to confirm from the contents which is the old 'redundant' partition, which can be deleted freeing up the space which will then be available to increase the size of the C: partition.

You will probably need a 'better' partitioning app to explore further and perform the actions, e.g. the 'freeware' version of Minitool Partition Manager or Macrorit Partition Manager, Disk Genius are available as portable apps that do not need to be installed, but there are other options. And, of course, you should always create a full system recovery backup before 'messing' with the partitions, just in case.

I see 5 laptop drives partitions and NOT 6
That's fine. That's normal.
Disk mgmt does not show one of them, it never does.
Tools like Macrium reflect, MiniToolPartitionWizard will always show that extra one.

Despite what Ghot said, I am not an expert in partitions.
The best I can do is to give you the list of useful hyperlinks that I keep in case I need to start understanding partitions properly.
- These general introductions might well answer all your current questions
Understanding Disk Partitions - TechNet [MSDocs] [MSLearn]
What is the difference between a system partition and a boot partition - TenForums
more about partitions including MSR - not shown by Disk mgmt
Microsoft Reserved Partition - Wikipedia
Overview of Disk Management - MSDocs
I've got more if you want to spend your life studying partitions.

On a general note, I should say that it is always worth getting a Disk mgmt screenshot first whenever you've got a question about your partitions:-
- with the upper part's column dividers dragged around so you can see all the text,
- with the upper-lower window divider dragged up or down so you can see every entry in the top half, &
- with the window edges dragged around so you can see the whole of every diagram in the bottom half.
I do this even if I'm looking at Digk mgmt for myself with no intention of ever posting the screenshot.

What do you want to do?
Hence, what do you want to know?

@Try3 , thanks for the expert reply. I simply want to create a complete/full backup as I normally do, but to my surprise when I opened Reflect I see 6 partitions as posted. Earlier there were 5, used to check all and perform a full backup in less than 10 mins with verification.

My question is should any of them be deleted, or all 6 be checked before for a full backup.

Thanks and regards!

MR when opened leaves Red one unchecked.....as just saw and am posting in the screenshot. Probably implying not required, could be from the old W11 since I performed a reinstall (keeping files and apps) for 22H2 upgrade?

No action needed. Just go ahead and do your Macrium reflect system image.

If you ever have so much free time on your hands that the size of any of those small partitions becomes a subject of interest then the links I gave you will start you off.
I think that one of those Recovery partitions has superceded the other but it is so small that it's hardly worth bothering about and you definitely want to get your system image done before fiddling with either of them.

It could also be your Card Reader slot...

You may have 2 choices...
hide empty drives and don't show hidden drives in Folder Options...

0001558.png

• or, remove the drive letter in Disk Management.

The only thing that bothers me about this scenario is that the G Drive disappears when you unplug the USB C hub! 🤷‍♂️

C:\Windows\System32>sfc /scannow

Beginning system scan. This process will take some time.

Beginning verification phase of system scan.
Verification 100% complete.

Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them.
For online repairs, details are included in the CBS log file located at
windir\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. For example C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. For offline
repairs, details are included in the log file provided by the /OFFLOGFILE flag.

The system file repair changes will take effect after the next reboot.

The system repair effect doesn't take place after reboot and rerun of sfc scan..... same results?

What would you recommend? I was thinking of doing a clean install BUT is too time consuming.....

Thanks.

Type C is plugged in and I see G drive in Explorer but not in Disk Management.
What does that C hub look like? When plugged in, does it have open ports?

Please extract the SFC list of irreparables using the procedure given in the tutorial's Option 3.
SFC - ElevenForumTutorials

And do run the DISM command explained at the end of Option 2. Make sure you are connected to the internet before you run it because it will need to download copies of any files that it needs to replace.
Repeat SFC afterwards.
Then extract its irreparables list if any remain.

This thread is getting a bit long. I think you have already tried a Repair install?
