What are these event log COM Server warnings?

Usually a few of them. Are they anything be concerned with or easily fixable?

The application-specific permission settings do not grant Local Activation permission for the COM Server application with CLSID
{2593F8B9-4EAF-457C-B68A-50F6B8EA6B54}
and APPID
{15C20B67-12E7-4BB6-92BB-7AFF07997402}
to the user GRAM17\User SID (S-1-5-21-382882815-678099041-4138757328-1001) from address LocalHost (Using LRPC) running in the application container Unavailable SID (Unavailable). This security permission can be modified using the Component Services administrative tool.

As indicated in the event log, the main reason for the “COM Server application with CLSID” error is invalid permissions. The error also occurs when a specific process doesn’t have enough permissions to the COM components.

All PCs have these 'errors' due to poor MS software engineering. Just ignore them since they do no harm and you risk breaking something if you try to fix them.

Unless you are troubleshooting a problem, you would be wise to stay out of event viewer. It is a dark and mysterious place that can make you nuts. Most Dcom errors are only warnings. Don't worry about Information, audit, and warning events. There are thousands of them every day. Even with error events, most times Windows has the unique ability of recovering itself and the user never knows about it. I only worry about repetitive error and critical events that cause me issues, not the occasional things that happen when Windows farts. My motto is, don't try to fix something that ain't broke.

I know, I know... just Windows errors that are "normal". Leave 'em alone...
I don't like messing with permissions as some do - too great a risk.
I'm just trying to make W11 as bug and error free as possible so it'll actually be usable.
If it's something simple why not fix it?

Because it is like a loop, by fixing one thing, you might break another and end up with the same error.
There's a Hole in My Bucket song nicely sums up the futility of fixing Windows (YouTube version).

I go a bit further and I disable Event Log, I do not need Windows to log EVERYTHING I do. :shush:

Only MS can make Windows Bug and Error free, and they don't seem to care enough to walk the miles...

I've tried to hunt down these COM permission errors, but they keep returning...and since Windows works reasonably well, I stopped doing that. I only Fix them if something is off with Windows. First I fix the critical errors, if that does not help, then I move to these less bad errors/Warnings.

As mentioned already, don't try to fix something that ain't broken.

I make use of Event viewer entries when I am investigating real, observable fault symptoms but I never regard the existence of an Event viewer entry as being sufficient reason to initiate troubleshooting.
