I did another clean install using 22000.51 ISO and I noticed that towards the end of installation, it is updating to the latest version already (22000.100). That's nice!

From the Allow updates when installing, right? I assume that needs to be enabled (and your Internet connection needs to be up and working as well).

I don't remember "Allowing updates". Probably because I do this a lot and everything is just automatic. But I don't remember getting "upgraded" to the latest version while installing Windows 10. I only noticed it on this Win 11 clean install using an old USB Installer created with 22000.51 ISO.

Nah, I don't remember it ever doing that either. But, the Internet connection question may be where it automagically decides to update or not, depending upon if you allow it to use one or not.

Which might be one of the reasons that Home requires an internet connection, apart from the forced use of a Microsoft account....

Interesting find nonetheless, though.
