Event 10016 is a warning and normal as zbook says. If it was me, I would be looking for error and critical events at the time of the freeze/crash.
I suggest you gather the required logs and post your problem in the BSOD Crash Analysis section of the forum so that it can get the attention it deserves. Instructions on posting and what is needed is at the top of the section.
Also, slightly more info about what was going on at the time of the events might prove helpful such as, does it happen only when gaming or using a certain app. Does screen go black or does system just become unresponsive. If the latter, is it momentarily but recovers or does it require rebooting.
The more info you can provide, the better.

Any help will be appreciated.
The problem lies somewhere else as Microsoft claims that these types of "errors" are normal and part of how Windows function. Check for other errors in Event viewer.

I thought so too but I've gathered my logs for multiple days and the freeze up time corresponds exactly to this error.
The error occurs, I have to force shutdown, and the Event Viewer picks up couple of minutes later.
When the system doesn't freeze up after boot and works as usual, Event Viewer doesn't not show this error.

So far, I have tried this: Redirecting

Hopefully, this solves the issue. If not, I'll report back here.

Reminds me of old IBM "Big Blue / Mainframe days" --- response from IBM on request for "Error" help --- "That's not a bug ---it's a Feature" !!.

I followed these tutorials but sth. has messed up and after restart there were multiple errors on windows, search, microsoft store etc. The start menu was unresponsive also. I had the make a system restore to fix things up. I either didn't follow the instructions carefully or this is better not to be touched. It does not any freezes on my system. So keep in mind this.

As I looked down through that long list of code, one line popped out at me:
EventSourceName="DCOM"

One of the world's top software writers, Steve Gibson, wrote a little program that permanently disables "DCOM" and it's called the
"DECOMBOBULATOR". You can find it on "GRC.COM".
Steve also gives a nice write up on DCOM and why it should be disabled (on every PC).
I don't have to be told twice.... I run his little program on every new install, to permanently disable "DCOM".

Hello again everyone!

I seem to have found the solution for the problem. It was indeed the DCOM error causing the complete lock up of the system.

I followed the following guide to fix the issue:

The error still shows up in device manager but the lock up have stopped.

Hope this can help someone in the future.

Thanks to everyone for their suggestions!

    Windows Security, (Alternative Eset)
@glasskuter
Do you mean to tell me that you will only run brand new programs?
That may not be so unusual, but awfully near sighted.
There's been some really GREAT programs written over the past three decades, and I still use many of them today.
Because, deep down inside of Windows 11 is some very OLD code. You only think you're running a new OS, but are you really?

I still write batch files that run just fine in Windows 11, using code that was written 30+ years ago.
And my one and only, tried and true, Backup & Restore program was written in 1997.
Both of my two main PC's, are 2008 vintage.

So, meaning no disrespect, you need to get your eyes out of the clouds, and back down to earth. Earth is where it's happening.

Y'all have a great day now,
TM

My windows 11 Beta froze up this morning when I installed an update Stack Package. I had to reinstall a backup from an Aomei Backupper. It would boot back to Windows but would freeze if I tried to open any program from the Desktop..

No I'm not telling you that at all. I have a few older apps I run but they are still in active development. And my eyes are firmly planted on what is happening in the here and now computing world, not in the days of XP. Modern OSes are built on an entirely different code than they were 20 years ago. Can we still use SOME old applications? Sure, but Mr. Gibson abandoned development of this app 10 full years before XP EOL. No one else thought enough of it to pick it up for further development.
If you want to use an app this old, your computer, your business. But old...extremely old...apps can cause unexpected results for the user. I feel to recommend it in an open forum is irresponsible and felt anyone reading your suggestion should be aware of that.
I mean no disrespect either, Sir. It's just my opinion.

I'd probably do a clean install at this point! After backing up files separately first. But then you have a macrium image ................
