windows 11 startup messed up by latest cumulative update

I don't want to sound ungrateful - quite the opposite, but it's almost 9pm and still have to prep dinner.
assuming this guy does not get a fit, is it safe to leave it on, and maybe tomorrow after 4pm? (pacific time we can finish the last touches...likely get me back in as regular and delete admin...unless you thinkk we can nail this down in the next 15 minutes or so....

Good deal. Now you can go settings and verify network connectivity.

Yeah no worries. You can do whatever you need to. You can shutdown or sleep, the administrator will stay enabled

@PF65 If needed in the future, the Hiren's boot disk made wit Rufus 4.5 worked. The one made with Rufus 4.6 didn't. It's the bottom option in the pic.

Hi FB. Tomorrow is another day, and aside of having to fix the admin accounts, I want to drop the sign in bs and check if something is wrong with my network adapters. So, yes likely I will ask again for this group folks sharing of time and knowledge generosity and patience 😉....tonight, well it's close to midnight and getting up at 7. Plenty of time for frustrations tomorrow. Thanks

update : windows 11 is now working fine. The initial user account still had issues, so files were transfer to new user, and then deleted. Hopefully solves the issues. Removed the log in with pin or password, but have yet to reconnectto Microsoft - have office app sbuscription. Sometime this weekend should have time to setup a key recovery, and make a recovery bootable disk
Anything else I should be looking at to keep the system out of trouble?

And thanks a million to all that helped so much - Dracone in particular
if ever come visit Central Oregon, please let me know, I owe you a big lunch :)
Thanks

make sure you create a new user account and use that and not the Administrator. once you create a new user account and move your files, etc over.. ***from your new user account*** open command prompt as admin and run:

Code:
net user Administrator /active:no

to hide it again.

but new account should still have admin rights andd I can set it with no passwords, right?

while logged into the Administrator run these commands in command prompt as admin (it will create a new Admin account with whatever name / password you want - just replace the words with your choices

Code:
net user YOURNAME YOURPASSWORD /add
Code:
net localgroup Administrators YOURNAME /add

then switch user to your new created admin account, copy over files and then disable/hide the Administrator account

can I skip PASSWORD? as in leave it blank or somrthing? It's a big deal leaving the system without pswrd for ANY log in if such is possible

and I have not looked at bios yet - restore to defaults should be my next move too, that is if the system has not done that by default yet...
