Change All Sub Folder Icons?

I have a folder with several thousand sub folders in it. Is it possible to change all of the icons in the subfolders at once?

The desktop.ini file .shellclassinfo section has an icon property. A short powershell script could be used to loop through all sub directories and create said file pointing to the correct icon resource.
