copilot window won't close on 24H2

I mentioned this on another thread, but - on 23H2 the copilot window fits within my screen and I can hit the cross top right to close it. On 24H2, same size screen - the window is above the top of the screen so no cross to click on to close it. The only way I seem to be able to close it is to sign out and back in again.

On my laptop, the cross in the top right corner is invisible until I click there. Otherwise, is it possible to reduce the size of the co-pilot page and slide it down?

I also put your query into co-pilot! It came up with the following:

I did that too. I can't remember what it suggested now but Google AI suggested using snaps to drag it to the edge and resize it. So I turned snaps back on and it's not working The other way was control shift and something to open task manager and stop copilot. That worked but was a bit cumbersome. I could just disable copilot but I might want to use it at some point. It's ridiculous the window is too big for a 13" screen. It's actually a 14" screen really. It's also ridiculous you can't drag the window down a bit.

Actually you can resize it. I asked copilot again - move the mouse to the edge of the screen until double arrows appear then you can drag it (sideways at least). This made it a bit narrower but did actually bring the top into view so I could click the cross and close it.

It also offered to do it for me! But I went with the manual option.

I learned a trick the other day that might help. I had a screen I could not get rid of on a website I use. I don't see as well as I used to, and had increased the screen fonts to 110%. It also enlarged everything else, and I was unable to get to the X at the top of the screen. I wrote to the webmaster for the page, and he said to hold down the control key and spin the mouse wheel. It will quickly zoom the page in or out, and if there is an X at the top of the page, it will be visible and clickable. He was right! I hope that helps.

Thank you. I don't see "quit" when I right click on it, but I do see "close window" I'm sure it wasn't there before! AND you can also unpin it from the taskbar now. That's good! Can you just add it to the start menu instead? (Answer - yes you can).

Only trouble is, if pinned to the start menu you can't right click and close it! But I do have the cross visible now after dragging the window.

You should see "Quit" if right clicking on the smaller Copilot icon in the system tray on the right side of the taskbar instead of the Copilot taskbar icon.

Hi Hazel123 -
Are there a plus or minus buttons? Hold the control key and try the plus or minus buttons. I have tried that on my desktop, and it works, too. Also, I don't know if you can use two fingers on the touchpad, like on a cell phone, and reduce or enlarge the screen image, maybe along with the control key?
