Free PDF & NCH Suite

Hello, I joined Windows 11 Forum only 3 days ago and this is my first post. It’s not a query but more of an observation. In reading the posts I notice that some are seeking a suitable free PDF reader. Also others having trouble with NCH suite
Some 2 weeks ago I got a new Desktop PC to replace a 16 year old model. In doing so I needed to find a Free PDF to replace Nitro Reader which is now no longer free. After some searching I downloaded and installed PICO Reader. It was then I noticed that a complete NCH suite had also appeared, downloaded only and not installed. Trying out PICO proved somewhat long winded and I only need use of PDF very occasionally so I found that Libre Office Calc reads PDF’s and also the Firefox Browser reads and edits Pdf’s. I decided to use Firefox and went to uninstall PICO and the NCH suite. At this point I found it is not included in Uninstall just as stated in this Forums Posts. However by right clicking on the PICO Icon it included uninstall and this I activated. It went in a second and also took the complete NCD Suite with it.
To sum up there are at least 2 free PDF readers in Libre and Firefox.
The NCH Suite is the unwanted files you receive when downloading PICO.
Hopefully the above helps to Provide PDF readers that don’t come with unwanted extras and reveals where NCH Suite come from using the guise of a Free PDF reader.
