  • Bug fixes included.
  • New Program Support added.
Known Issues
  • After installing the AMD Chipset Installer version “7.xx.xx.xx”, users cannot install version “6.xx.xx.xx” or earlier.
    Workaround:
    • Un-install the AMD Chipset installer version 7.xx.xx.xx or newer.
    • Delete the “Qt_Dependencies” folder located at "C:\Program Files (x86)\AMD\Chipset_Software\".
    • Install AMD Chipset installer version 6.xx.xx.xx or older.
  • On a non-English OS, some driver names may appear in English. 
  • Occasionally, Ryzen PPKG may not install or upgrade.
  • Yellow bang on AMS Mailbox driver on the AMD Ryzen™ Threadripper™ 9000 Series Processors [AMD WRX90] on Win10 OS.

I have not had any stuttering.. but then again ASUS said they fixed that in the BIOS update recently...

Done. It might have turned the master volume down to 67% on Win 11.
Changed my monitor time out from 5 minutes to Never on Windows 10.
Haven't noticed any other changes.

There are two separate downloads at AMD... one for Win 10, the other for Win 11.
They are the exact same file. SHA 256 = identical. @Brink

I have been trying to download this update from AMD's website on multiple browsers, but I keep getting this...
I'm going to presume it's a problem on their end and not mine because downloading anything else from their website works fine.

I figured out the problem... it's my security suite (anti-virus) that is not allowing the download for who knows what reason...
turned it off for a moment and was able to get it. (y)

Just installed on both Win 10 and Win 11.
I have identical hardware on both Win 10 and Win 11.
I just use the Win 11 driver. As far as I can tell they are identical.
Everything is fine. On Win 10, I had to reset the "Turn Monitor off after..." back to 5 minutes.

Installed fine after I had copied from files for two drivers from the packages folder to the binaries folder..
otherwise it all ways errors out for me.. I reported it but I NEVER heard back from AMD... :( X(

the idiots<--(harsh word) at AMD can't seem to get their installer working correctly.. :( XD lol

Never had that problem - ever. Our systems are not *too* far apart, but I wonder what is the AGESA version in your BIOS that you have installed?

Technically, that should not make a difference, but I've seen stranger things sometimes when a stable AMD mobo BIOS is actually using an unstable AGESA....

hmm... it always been a problem with my system... idk why either..
IDK what the AGESA version is off hand...
I am running the latest BIOS for my mobo.. v4403

Yeah, saw that in your system profile. But it's the only thing I can think of that *might* be causing the issue, and I still don't really believe that should be the cause, as you have to move files, which should be done by the installer, and not give a care in the world which AGESA is in the BIOS.

It's a head scratcher indeed.

Have you tried running the installer and only selecting one item at a time to upgrade?
