Sorry, that's a .reg file not a set of CMD or PS commands.

I think it would just be easier to run cmd as admin as instructed here and add the commands one by one.

I'd like to add a reg file but I am getting a different result from Garlin and I trust Garlin over me, I just don't know why it's different and I'd like to know before adding it.

You can muck around if you want my friend but I can at least vouch for the fact that what is on that page works.

There are members that have been able to install 24H2 without SSE 4.2 but it just goes into a loop of rebooting and doesn't load, sorry my friend.

You make a great point - the problem is not with the installation, but with the running of Windows once installed. It starts to give you false hope when the installation is working.

if you want a real challenge, install 23H2, edit the reg:

You can install 24H2 on non-SSE4.2 system using various tricks, but then doesn't boot after first restart (second stage). It never goes past the first restart, unless you replace 24H2 bootloader with the old 23H2 bootloader before booting. I haven't tried that. But even then, probably SSE4.2 is used in some other system files and fails. Once I have the time to experiment again with my test laptop without SSE4.2, I will post results.

The command setup.exe /product server is the best and easiest way to bypass the system requirements (if you are using an ISO file, you must first mount the ISO file). Works with or without an internet connection. It doesn't matter if Windows 10/11 is installed on a GPT or MBR disk.
