Local Account issues

Hi everyone, I recently changed from a Microsoft Account to a Local Account. All that went well and as expected, but after adding my new password and restarting my machine and using my new password. I got a wrong password message. But here is the strange thing, it accepts my old Microsoft password and opens windows 11 normally.

So I tried again, this time leaving the password fields blank then restarted my machine and it opens without a password.
So the question is why ??

Have you tried setting the a new password again after setting it to blank?

Also, did you follow a tutorial / guide from here or somewhere else to make the swap from MSA to LA?

Go to Search and type netplwiz and press Enter.
Put a check in the box User must enter a user name and password to use this computer.
Select your Local User Account click Reset Password. Set the password you want, Apply and OK.
