How to make the taskbar buttons have the same width?

I would like to ask if someone knows how to disable this stupidity:



I'm trying to make all taskbar buttons have the same fixed width as is on Windows 10.

Welcome to the forum. It would help if you would list your system specs in your forum profile. Be sure to state what version of windows you are running. You can see how it should look by clicking on "My Computer" below this post. Those are mine.

Also, are you running any 3rd party app that alters the GUI? I cannot tell exactly what apps the 2 icons you marked are for. (One looks like Explorer++ but I'm not for sure. I can't see enough of the icon next to it to recognize it) Here's my taskbar and my icons are all in proportion except my Explorer++ is skinnier and my Run icon is slightly smaller. Some of these icons are windows icons, some are 3rd party icons, and some are my own custom icons.

If you are running a 3rd party app that alters the GUI, Uninstall it and restart to see if the icons straighten out. You can also try rebuilding your icon cache.

I was pointing to the width of the folder starting with v
Im trying to get rid of this dynamic sizing of the taskbar buttons, so they all can have the same width independent of their title, as is on Windows 10

Might try Winaero Tweaker if 11 doesn't have a native way. See the note on bottom

I would like to avoid installing third-party apps, specially just for this task, also, are you sure this option from Winaero Twiker works on Windows 11?
