Well, I am still of the opinion it’s all about data. They didn’t make it to serve humanity, it’s self serving because it’s a business. There is no money in doing things for us unless there is an end to their design.
Data as we know, is where it’s at. All kinds of data, it doesn’t matter what it is. Timmy likes drawing dinosaurs, Adrian needs ChatGPT because he is working on a confidential project for his company (not so confidential now, is it) Katey likes baking chocolate cake and designing buildings.
I’m glad I will be dead by the time they are freely allowed to use this data.

ChatGPT is the software based extension of them.
My worry is less about data collection and the uses it can be put to than trusting AI will always have our best interests at heart.
I don't want the Terminator future where we end up serving the machines instead of them serving us.
Fortunately, the Turing Test has yet to be met by any computer.
AI sentience remains a long ways off.
