Hello,
I am trying to register my new pc with Geekom and having the hardest time trying to figure out how to do it.
I found information on their faqs page that stats to click the account icon in the top navigation bar, then fill in my email address and password as requires and click the register button. Well, I can not find any register button. I did set up the account but there was no register button, so I contacted Geekom and they stated to click the my computers windows icon and to the the user icon in the upper right corner and click it (well on my windows 11 Pro the icon is in the lower corner), anyway, they then said to click the "login or register" button and in the registration windows that opens fill in all necessary information such as my email address and password and click the register button. After completing all necessary steps, my computer will automatically register my account.
I click on the user icon and I only get change account settings / lock / sign out for the options.
What am I missing?
I am running windows 11 pro
version 21H2 (OS build 22000.2538)

It is very brief. See "How do I register" in this link:

Surely your 'new' computer OS is not 21H2? That version is no longer supported? Maybe it is a typo? If not then I suggest you update to the latest 23H2 build 22631.2861. This may correct the issue.

It is very brief. See "How do I register" in this link:

From what I see you only need to register if you want a Geekom account. There must be a Geekom app or program you need to be running. The only thing I could find on the website was the link to log-in. I'll look again.

Edit: Toward the bottom of the sign-in page (click on the head icon) and just under the Facebook and Google link is a link to setup an account.

sorry for the delay in responding, been a very hectic week around here.
I will have to do the search and type in winver and see what it says again, but the computer did not suggest any updates so maybe I will have to go to settings and see if there are any updates. The pc is only about a month old now.

Winuser asked for the link to the faqs page - this is it. frequently asked questions - GEEKOM

As soon as I get back to my house and turn on that computer I will check on what version is on that windows 11 pro computer.

You already gave me the link and I replied. Read post #5. Checking for updates using the Windows update under setting is a good idea. Checking for updates in the MS Store is also a good idea. One thing I want to point out is that if you see any driver updates, they may or may not be your best choice. Usually driver updates are better if you get them my the company that made the computer. If your OS is activated with a digital license you should be good to go. :-)

Sorry, I have not replied until now - we have had some storms move through with lots of high winds, downed trees and power outages over the past few days.
I think that I may know what it is that I am trying to figure out and did not realize. I was trying to figure out the product key / COA in order to register my new computer with windows 11 professional. Came across information stating that the Product Key / COA is no longer needed with windows 10 or windows 11.
"The product key is preinstalled on your PC, included with the packaging the PC came in, or included on the Certificate of Authenticity (COA) attached to the PC. For more info, contact your hardware manufacturer, and for pictures of authentic product keys and COA labels," So.... I am thinking that since this geekco mini 1T11 PC was already installed on the computer and when I was asked for to log into my Microsoft Account it was automatically registered with MS.

I did check and yes, I was correct about the pc running version 21H2 (OS build 22000.2538). I did go to the updates section to check for and update the computer but the update failed. Then the storms were moving in and I did not get a chance to try and get the computer to do the update again. Going to try doing that today.
