That's a good idea... but instead of cloning which takes up a LOT of space, use backup software.
That way you can backup whatever partition you want to the 128GB SanDisk, and it will only take 1/2 the space of the data on whatever partition you are backing up.

Your current C:\ drive has 80GB of data. Your current G:\ drive has 76GB of data.
Either of those backed up to the 128GB SanDisk would take about 40GB of space for the backup.

Assuming the C:\ drive is your working Windows 11 install...
Macrium Reflect backup software (free) is pretty simple to use. Just follow the numbered steps...
For step #2, just choose the 128GB SanDisk for the location to "store" the backup.

It should take about 5 minutes to make the backup.

Don't forget to make the Macrium bootable Rescue Media (far right in the pic), so if needed, you can get to your backups (and restore from them) even if Windows won't boot.

Once you have a Macrium backup of your working Windows 11 install... you can do just about anything.
If you make a mistake... just restore from the backup. :)

As I said above, that screenshot makes it a whole different ballgame in terms of good utilization of space. You are losing tons of space by cloning C: rather than using backups instead as @Ghot said. You would be better off not having your data on a separate partition at all but within the C: drive along with your OS. As long as the combination of OS+data is less than half the size of disk 0 there would still be sufficient space for windows.old. Then the 1 tb hdd could be one partition where backups of C: are stored. You over-complicated it by using a clone to the exact same size partition. If you wanted to clone instead of backup you should have cloned to a smaller partition. As it is, you're wasting space on both drives.

Are they external or internal?

If external, I'd use one of the for backups of my system. [Edit] I take this one back! Drive isn't large enough for more than one backup at a time, and maybe not even then, since I don't have much info about your system.

If internal, I'd use one for my data, and the other . . . ?

We don't really know, what you have on which partitions.
But yeah, put all the irreplacible stuff on the 128GB Sandisk, then you CAN start clean. :-)
