I just discovered that my UTM VM on Apple Silicon is still running Windows 11 21H2. How do I upgrade to 22H2 or 23H2? There is noting in Settings → Windows Update that would indicate how to do that.

It turns out that Installation Assistant does not work on a VM or at least an ARM VM. I’ll have to use the Media Creation Tool, instead.

An error occurred while using the Media Creation Tool. Twice. Must not work in my case.

There is no need to use the UUP Dump Site(s), the UTM developers have produced their own native macOS Windows 11 download tool (using similar ISO creation methods to those used by Parallels and VMWare) see CrystalFetch on GitHub

I have used it myself and it is much quicker and easier than using the UUP Dump procedure which has to be used in Windows.
