I wanted to install Windows 11 but I got the message below:



“This PC can’t run Windows 11”



What could be the issue here?

If you don't list your computer specs... how are we supposed to answer this.


Go here...




Scroll down and download WhyNotWin11.exe, save it to your desktop and run the program.
Then post a screen shot of the result.

Go with @BunnyJ 's post It is probably not meeting the requirements If you fill in the My computer section we would have a better idea so as to help you

Welcome to Eleven Forum. There are many possible issues. As has been said, without your PC specs we cannot say which it may be.

Some issues may be possible to fix, such as the requirement for Secure Boot to be turned on in the Bios. Others can't, such as an unsupported processor.

He must have been successful, his computer specs say 'Windows 11'

And the OP,, has logged off. I wonder what he expected? He provided no information to go on.. so..

Hi there
I've had on W11 update from a machine Running W11 that the update failed because of message "This PC can't run W11". OK I understand the message but if the PC is ALREADY running W11 -- well is something wrong with my understanding of English.

I fairly certain he isn't running Win 11. Or maybe he is now by using a simple Google search. Anyway we will never know as he's not around to enlighten us further

He could have foregone the Google route altogether and sent it to a computer tech in Honolulu to sort out though, apparently there's a really good one there.

I guess everyone summed this up nicely !

He certainly does

It's almost 10:00 PM where they are at so they may be working or went to bed. Until they give us the system info, we can only guess.
