Solved Windows login picture bug

I've been having this bug on and off for a loooong time. See the video clip, where the default blue wallpaper i shown before my default login picture.
I've Winaero Tweaker "default login picture" eventhough it's a login picture issue, but this doesn't work. I tried a bunch of other things, including editing the blue pictures in Windows/Web/

All I see is a video of a fireplace?

If you want to change the lock screen picture... you do it in... Settings > Personalization > Lockscreen

How to change default lock screen image in Windows 10

There are two completely separate lock screens in Windows 10. Here is how you can set the default lock screen image in Windows 10.

It would help if you just told us what you want your lock screen to do.

The video shows us your boot sequence... but it doesn't tell us what you want it to do.

to show the login picture I have choosen tthrough settings/pers../look screen.
"show the lock screen background picure on the sign-in screen" is enabled

it's adjusted, maybe a cache issue, press f5 and maybe the correct link will appear

On my comp, I just went to Settings > Personalization > Lock screen and browsed to the picture I wanted.

yeah it works sometimes, and sometimes not sadly

There's this... try Option #2, here...



I changed my Lock Screen pic about a year ago, and it has stayed the same since then.
Make sure you set your Lock Screen to a picture and not to a slide show.

In Winaero Tweaker, in the "Boot and Login" section, I have "none" of the lock screen things check marked.
Also... remember that when you make a registry change, it's best to reboot the computer to apply the change.

My Lock Screen pics are personal, so I blacked them out in the screen shot above.

Yep its been enabled, and like the images you linked always. I even change and re-change the choosing of the image and tick a re-tick use as a sign-in image.

I re-choose a picture and re-ticked the signin box.
I checked regedit, and I too dont have a Personalization key, I know I used to, I even had a bookmark in regedit.
I did a shutdown and a boot, the boot sequense did show my correct image now. But this is a bit random so I dont know if its because of that.
I will check regedit if the bug re-appears.

I also don't have that folder/key on my 2-week-old Notebook.

Rebooted, and the blue background image appeared. But no Personalization key in the registry
