Solved Any UK / ROI users of SKY GO here

Hi folks
I've an ROI SKY Q box and I use Sky Go with VPN to view recordings from the SKY Q box on to a Computer monitor.

Cannot get it to work at all on the latest Canary release.

Works fine on this W11 22H2 release though







Running on a physical laptop - not a VM - W11 Pro UK / GB edition.

Anybody got SKY GO to work in the Canary release. (ROI / UK boxes).

Finally fixed

Was some stupid thing with Regional settings and time zones !!!

Now working again !!!

Being able to connect to the SKY Q box gives me all the access to recorded programs (or OOD content and remote computer access to recorded programs etc.

SKY Help desk was 99% Useless on this as is most of overseas Indian I.T call centres -- without wanting to get into "Racist mode" how is it that Indian IT seems to permeate almost every off shored I.T system on the planet and really don't offer a good service.

One "Almost retired Islander here" fixed a problem which 11 hours of Indian I.T plus SKY call centre in Scotland not only failed to solve but couldn't really understand what the problem was.

Couldn't believe that the whole B/S needed to be set up with "UK / ROI "regional settings and the correct timezone".

First time I've had that sort of problem whether using a VPN or not. The Other Windows versions I had on my computer were just the basic options after the GB /UK install so perhaps the regional / lang settings were OK before I fiddled with them and installed SKY GO later.# AFTER changing regions / lang etc. I just re-installed the Birdie release and SKY GO before changing anything else,

Maybe us old "Retirees" aren't so stupid after all.
