As a developer myself and im getting old. I have neck and spine issues and I love using duckduckgo
because i can center all search results on my screen. What is bothering me lately is every forum or site i goto
like this forum..all the posts are to the left on my screen. It is natural to have to turn your head to the left to look at them. I feel all websites should create a
different layout so everything is centered on my screen. It is natural when looking at your monitor to view the absolute center of it right. My neck hurts after looking at my screen for hours because of this. Like there is Material design for sites etc someone should revolutionize the content style to center everything or at least the main content and only push other content toward the sides of the screen. Sorry im old just saying. What do you all think???

Seems like a niche concept and trying to get all website operators onboard would be next to impossible. There are extensions for most browsers that can already do this. That would be my suggestion, or even write your own extension

yeah but I mean I cant be the only person on planet earth that realizes you need to turn your head I know its only slightly but again when someone sits at their pc looking straight on to your screen your eyes focus straight to the middle of the screen right well after sitting online for hours on end it can hurt your neck and especially if you already have neck problems. you know android developers focus on issues like this making things easier and better visually so why not execute some kind of global format you know. Just saying. I do have centered google results but I dont know of any extension that will center ALL websites content to the center..if there is then I have no clue and please let me know what its called. Thanks

The problem I have in head turning is with the wider and curved screens, at 22" I don't have to move much to have peripheral vision at least notice what is at the extreme left and right without much movement. I do have an ASUS 27" monitor given me but only reason to keep it has been the 4 types of input it offers, VGA, HDMI, DVI and DisplayPort, useful when working on Notebooks with bad screens. [The lady that gave it to me moved to the East coast and didn't want to ship it, go figure.]

I, like a lot, if not the majority of "serious Users" [Programmers, Designers Photographers Etc], use more than one monitor In my case a Main 32" monitor and a secondary 43" TV screen off to the left, [used for displaying images full size whilst editing them in detail on the main monitor] What I do is sit further away from the screen and adjust the text size to a setting that I can see and read easily.

This is a setup that means I can read the main screen by just moving my eyes rather than my whole head. I also have a swivel chair so I can rotate my whole body to allow me to concentrate on the large screen to the left. [the wheels on my chair also allow me to move away from the screen to give a wider view to assess overall details].

On the right I have a stand for my Laptop [XPS 17], [if the cat is not asleep on it] that I can work on using the same mouse and keyboard and again swivel my chair to protect my neck.

All the screens are 4K HDR-10 which does help with readability
