Hi everyone,

Is there any way of copying browser favorites to a desktop folder? I click copy on a browser favorite, but after opening the desktop folder, the paste option is greyed out. Unfortunately, I am not very well versed in these things. Is there a way of doing this, or am I sol? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Kind regards,

bigbeardedbuddy

Browsers generally have a Favorites export option that writes all Favorites to an html file.

Browsers generally allow dragging individual Favorites one at a time into a desktop folder. This is tedious but unavoidable. You'll need to start by pressing
Ctrl-Shift-O
to get an explorer-like presentation of the Favorites.
Some browsers need a further step before they show an explorer-like presentation of the Favorites - you have not said which browser you are using.
For Edge it's
Ctrl-Shift-O ... Open Favorites page

All the best,
Denis
