I've ruled out the following: PSU (brand new), GPU (brand new), CPU. . . I can't get memtest to boot from a flash drive for some reason, so I have no way to test the RAM. Memtest is just a black screen when booting from the flash drive. I'm getting sick and tired of this happening. . . Some days, it goes fine, other days, like today, several times. The only thing I haven't tried is removing the 3TB HDD and putting it into another PC just to see if that's the cause.

I don't mean to sound irritable, and i'm not irritable at anyone at all. . Just my computer. I can't figure out what is going on. I've tried everything. My CPU is running between 80°F - 110°F, so I know it's not that.

Edited to include "F" since I'm like the only one here that does not use the awful metric system

What air cooler are you using? Have you considered getting an AIO cooler? Dropped my 5950X by 30 degrees.

Just a regular air cooler. I dont do liquid cooling man. I am 100% set against that. Liquid & Electronics do not mix, idc if the liquid is non-conductive, it still can can ruin things if the hoses bust.

You might want to get a higher grade air cooler then. I've been using an AIO for 6 years with no issues.

80-100C???? Hopefully it's not that hot.

I run air too, running a Dark Rock pro4, and I usually top out on my Ryzen 9 5900X around 75C. Idle closer to 35-40

Just to ask although it is very ridiculous for me. Did you try to use High Performance Plan in Control Panel, Power Options and then choose your plan (somewhere it is Ultra High Performance Plan). In High Performance Plan you probably will not have hard locks, but your system will be hotter. Why? Easy to explain. If you edit High Performance Plan (Change Plan Settings and then Change Advance Power Settings) you will see that PCI Express, Link State Power Management will be turned Off, which means that your GPU will be pushed harder and will be hotter and in Processor Power Management, you will see that Minimum and Maximum Processor Power State will be 100% which means that your CPU will not decrease speed to minimum (for example 800Mhz) but it will be put in higher speed steps, creating more hotter CPU. The similar play is with your CPU, go to Performance, Tunning and look is it going to take down speed to 300Mhz as to lowest speed or it will be higher. Higher, for sure.

I think using of High Performance Plan in order to avoid hangs is really ridiculous since it is poor implementation of Windows 11 CPU multi-core handling and GPU implementation with the main goal to see that all things are working smoothly. Giving more power to CPU like 20W to 40W in idle, the same for GPU will produce bigger electricity bill for you, since you probably, like all of us, use your computer couple of hours per day and then you do math and calculate that using Windows 11 with High Performance Plan, will spend more electricity and we all have to pay bigger electricity bills. That is not situation we all want.

Why dont you put MdSched.exe in Run command and let Windows check you memory after restart. I doubt memory is the problem, but check it anyway. Maybe Firefox and its hardware acceleration could be your problem, go to Tools/Settings, scroll down to Performance and uncheck both options. Yes, your computer will be hotter, but you said you don care. :-)

One last thing. Open Event Viewer, go to Windows Logs/System and search for the thing happened just before you had hard lock. The one marked as Error or Warning, could explain why your computer goes to hard lock.

Already done that. . Memory is fine. Yes I do care that my PC will be hotter. I don't know what i've done, or how I done it, but I've got the temps down and running between 85-104.

Event Viewer only shows "hardware issue". And i've replaced the GPU, PSU, done a Memory Test. . It hasn't happened in several days, so we'll see.
