Your next step up from an RX 580 8GB is going to be a Radeon RX 6600 8GB.

The Radeon RX 6600 retails at around $295.00 AUD or around €177.41 Euros.

8GB Video RAM is enough depending on your use case. If you do a lot of gaming and little else, then you may want more, but with that is going to be a huge price increase as most lower end cards only have 8GB of Video RAM.

The Radeon RX 7700 XT has 16GB of Video RAM, but it also has a price tag of around $799.00 AUD or €480.43 Euros.

Video card prices only go up from there.

What is your intended usage? Budget? Since you were using a very old RX 580, were you satisfied with it's performance?

I acknowledge that it's been a while and at the time, I was nearing financial ruin.

The card was doing well. However, I had 2 or 3 games that I was unable to enjoy.

If I can obtain the next advancement from the RX580, I can run it for 6 months.

I believe this will suffice for the time being.

@Firas

The next step up from the Radeon RX 6600 is the Radeon RX 6650 XT 8GB.

It retails around $399.00 AUD or €239.98 Euros.

That should handle most modern games, albeit at the lower end of the scale and your i7 should be more than enough CPU to drive it.

On top of what @trumpy81 is suggesting I might add for a little more you could just go ahead and get an RX 6700 XT with 12 GBs of VRAM. While the 6600 with be a huge jump from the 580 the 6700 with the 12 GB of vram is going to be better. If affordable. Currently looking on Amazon the XFX model is going for only $300 USD. Unsure about Euros.

@BamaInArk

$300.00 USD is around €275.08 Euros.

And I concur the RX 6700 XT would be a very nice card indeed.

I currently run an RX 5700 XT 8GB and the RX 6700 XT is a big step up from mine, so it would more than do the job and I don't have any issues with any of the games I play.

I second the Radeon cards, I use mine for gamin as well as coding. It’s very good for multi tasking but mines a Gigabyte Radeon RX 6800 XT Gaming OC 16GB, but I find all these cards to be great for the price tags.

The screen is displaying 1000 lines in all directions, with yellow, blue, and red colors. Additionally, I discarded it in the trash and the garbage truck arrived here two days ago.
