After buying my new Logitech Wireless K710 Keyboard Mouse Combo, and finding just two small sheets of paper with the imfortation for getting it working.

I looked up what Logitech included around ten years ago with their MK520 Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Combo. and what was included was a small but complete instruction paper book on getting it working, with many pictures to guide you with everything needed.

It just seems like with about all new computer products today, the included Documentation is just not being included today as it was years ago in the past.

I feel these companies just do not want to spend the money having a technical staff for documentation of their products.

As an example Just look at Microsoft Windows and Apples iPhones, what documentation do you find included or even online?

It's nice there are many online forums to give people the needed help with their products today.

It costs them more money to print instructions and put them in products than to provide you with a QR code or link to find the information online. Plus, online will be always up to date, printed instructions cannot be revised without ...

... giving you a QR code or a link to the updated instructions.

So, no, it's not that they don't want to spend money for technical staff - you're looking at it wrongly.

They don't want to spend money printing instructions that may be wrong in 6 months, or a year. They have instructions, documents, etc. all online, so that any person looking at them at any given moment is looking at the most current version. Most people have a printer and can print the docs at their leisure, or (as I do) simply view them online and save a tree.

It makes more sense now, because everyone has a cell phone, or secondary method from the computer you're installing to, to get online and look for answers. But, also, the keyboard basic functions should be plug and play, meaning you can plug it in and use that same device to then get online for software, instructions, and the like.

Edit: If it is, I found it on the first try.
Where did you find this link as all i get is to download their HUB, the material you found is just as was provided with my K520 in the paper book .
All i got in the package beside the one small sheet is the support link to their HUB and that got me nothing.
But your link is just what people starting out with the setup need.

Usually, the HUB will give you all the info you need to customize as you like.
I have G933 and G903 and gave my Son-in-Law a new TKL for his rig along with a G903 and all he needed to install and customize was in the HUB.
never even asked how to do anything. His last was MSI for both and wasn't confused on what to do.

I bought my first computer, an IBM PC, in March, 1983. It came with a ring binder manual, page after page of instructions. My favorite find, in first browsing the manual, was to find an entry making it total evident that there was no legal way that I could give/sell/whatever this manual to anyone else.

Having scanned that information, I turned to the very next page, where I found the instructions on how to legally give/sell/whatever the manual to another person.

They gave you a binder to keep the DOS floppies in a plastic sleeve. ;-)
Imagine the cost of asking for replacement media back in the 80's.

But yes, Logitech used to come with info and software. But Logitech has been scaling back for years, they even stripped their community forum down to the worst software. I don’t even bother with them anymore. Like John said, I’ve been using them for years so… and when all else fails, there is always @Edwin :p
