Solved MS Office 2019 now is 365 after 22H2 update

I have a click to run paid version of Office 2019 Pro Plus and it is linked to my MS account. After updating to 22H2 when I start Outlook the splash screen now says Microsoft 365, the icons are all 365 style yet if I go to Account options It states it is Office 2019 Pro plus

So How can I get the proper 2019 icons to display? any help gratefully received

You can't, except maybe the shortcuts.
I have a feeling MS is updating your Office applications as they see fit!
Perhaps uninstall Office and re-install it? 🤷‍♂️

To change everything manually, you'd have to replace about 200 logo images and re-write 7 VisualElements manifests!

Thanks Edwin, I meant the inn app icons. 365 uses very flat looking ones.

It seems strange that it is now 365 as that is subscription based and my version is fully paid and linked to my MS account, also the splash screen says Microsoft 365 but the office account page shows correct as 2019 Pro Plus, maybe it is a trial version.

In fact 22H2 has also ruined my Control Centre as it starts Suspended now due to " UWP process group is suspending processes to improve system performance ", whereas in reality it has slowed down system performance.

Weird. I have 2021 Pro + also tied to MS account and its splash screen is correct for Outlook. As far as the icons, all my Pro + app icons look like 365 but the in-app icons do not. I know @Edwin and I bought at the same time and mine and his never have looked alike nor have our updates showed to be the same versions. So who knows what the he** I've got. In Programs and Features, there is no MS Office Click to Run there anymore. I know it used to be there and I don't remember removing it. (but I don't remember a lot of things these days)

Mine are versions 2209 and 2210

This is exactly what I'm talking about. Mine has never looked like anyone else's. Makes no sense.This is the classic ribbon vs the simplified ribbon. Doesn't look like either of yours.

Thanks Glasskuter, we all seem to have similar but yet so different

Well lo and behold, I contacted Office support, no reply I have just done a restart and all is back to Office 2019. Happy me, Thanks Edwin and Glasskuter for you help, advice and the images so I knew what I should be looking for.
