New Win 11 Media Player

This has been an interesting thread, have been using Windows Media Player on my new April '22 Desktop that came with Win10 and after all the updates got upgraded to Win11. It has been ripping Audio CDs since, doing one now. It appears to be exactly the same as on Win10 except for the rounded corners and No, it does not stop when minimized.

I was already familiar with this method, but it seems that MS have pulled the link for the latest WMP build. Maybe because it will available to everyone via MS Store by the end of this month...???

MS is weird!
It's like, they like to test the waters but they're too afraid to swim!

Develop a product that you believe in already! And, make it fiercely competitive with the best thing out there, instead of fiddling around with Fisher Price apps!

They even modernized the glyphs on the Legacy WMP! Make up your mind already!!! 🤷‍♂️

Now I have and it shows up. My bad, I apologize.
*Update: So I updated it to the latest version, but the Audio CD option is missing. :cautious:

Perhaps, initially, it failed to detect your optical drive..., restart the app and re-insert another CD.

Shouldn't I have the option without having to insert a CD?
