BTW, my NAS is cloud based so mine is connected to my router via ethernet cable. That's the only way to connect is via ethernet cable.

My PC is connected to the router with Cat8. The net drives/shares are on USB ports on the router. Every other device in the house can see the Music folder, including the legacy WMP, but not that new POS....

Well, I can't speak for the beta version (not running it) but as you see the version shipped with 11 works without issue. That said, I'm not reading from USB drives attached to NAS, but rather the drive itself on the NAS.

That said, have you tried, in say a test, to see if the files can be seen from the drive instead of USB devices? Just throw a few files on the NAS itself and see if the media player sees them. This way you know what the issue is.

I just uninstalled Media Player and restarted Windows11 as instructed. Restarting Windows 11 installed the "newest?" version; 11.2210.33.0 as opposed to 2209.30.

Of course, since I've never used Media Player, I don't seem to have any music (duh!) nor do I know where to find any that's free. I like Country since I grew up listening to it in the 40s and 50s.

It broke my heart when our radio told us Hank Williams was gone . . .

Oh, OK. I get it now . . . the video is about Media Player, not EaseUS Recorder. Sigh . . .

OK, I'll check for a tutorial for EaseUS on Youtube. And use your Media Player to see if I can conquer it.
