Surprise with Robocopy

Pictures say more than words. The job logs x copied files, but these cannot be seen. Even with TC and the "see hidden files" option, nothing can be seen. When I run it a second time, it logs all files skipped. The only question is where has the folder gone

i have using a old Version Size 72879 Bytes

Thanks for the Type, I didn't even know that Robocopy had become standard in Windows. Since Server 2003 I always started it from a Utilitbox. I noticed that the program has been heavily reworked since my version, its needs some dlls but says it is not missing. Only scrap comes on the display when I copy the new Robocopy into my utility box and start from there. The problem is solved but I must adapt 100 scripts for sure

You can avoid having to rewrite your software by using the mklink command to create a robocopy junction or link in your toolbox folder to the actual robocopy in C:\Windows\System32\robocopy.exe.

In an elevated command window opened in the directory where your robocopy used to be:

mklink robobocopy.exe c:\windows\system32\robocopy.exe

This will create a symbolic link called robocopy.exe in your directory that points to the sytem cobocopy. whenever you try to run robocopy.exe in your directory it will run the system robocopy.exe instead.
