I was doing some cleanup on my wife's machine and noticed under:

Settings>Personalization>Taskbar>Other System Tray Icons...there are two duplicate items called WirelessSetup.exe. Hovering over them indicates they are Intel. Toggling them on or off doesn't do anything (i.e. they don't show). How do I delete them...I assume there is a Registry entry I can go for system tray icon options...I just don't know where it is. Thanks.

Haven't seen that issue but do be careful, one may be for the Wireless Adapter and the other may be for Bluetooth Wireless, which is usually on the same adapter as the Wireless. Most Notebooks are that way but some later Desktops also have both Ethernet and Wireless.

Is your wife's machine a PC/Desktop connected by Ethernet cable or is she using WiFi?

If connected by Ethernet cable then she doesn't need WiFi so turn WiFi OFF and maybe the WirelessSetup.exe items will disappear altogether?

She uses Wifi...and yes, both BT and Network adapter (and drivers) are Intel. However, issue is only related to why there are "notification icons" for a setup program? I don't think deleting the icons will mess with the driver. I don't have them on any other machine.
