I have a relatively new build, Asus ProArt Z790-Creator WIFI motherboard, Intel i9-13900K, Corsair 32gb Dominator Platinum, Thermaltake Core X71 Case, Windows Pro 22H2 and I have installed a Startech HSB100SATBK 5.25 Trayless hotswap Bay:

And I have the sata port in the motherboard bios set to "Hot Swap Enabled" and I've used all kinds and sizes of hard drives up until now with no problem but now I've got an HGST HUH721010ALE604 10tb hard drive that is not detected. I tried putting in a Western Digital 8tb and going into the bios just to see which port the hard drive is attached to and I see the model number in the bios; I shut down and put in the HGST and power on and again go into the bios and it shows no drive detected on that port. I also have a fairly new Wavelink USB 3 hard drive dock, if I put the HGST into it and power it on the system does detect it and I can partition and format it. I also bought a newer version of this as the old one was at least 6-8 years old and I have the same problem. Fyi the sata cable is one that came with the motherboard, it's neither long nor short.

So why is the HGST drive not being detected as I'm pretty sure that I have other 10tb drives that are detected and work when inserted into this bay?
