Hello, I find myself reaching out to those who may assist me in my plight. I recently obtained a desktop PC, actually it was gifted to me, The motherboard is identified as a KOLOE B760M4-Plus and I have not one shred of documentation or user manual to even give me a hint as to what is with this motherboard.

I've invested way to much time pursuing it seems a phantom motherboard, resulting with no gains but more mystery, That stoopid Copilot gave me info regarding KOHLER plumbing mfg contact info twice instead of KOLOE contact info.

Mine has the 12th Gen Intel Core i5-12400 CPU, 32mb DDR 3200 memory, No Bluetooth or wi-fi, (added a Intel Wi-Fi 6E AX210 160MHz BT/Network PCIe card). NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER, Windows 11 Pro 64-bit RP channel installed, TOSHIBA MKNSSDEL1TB (SATA (SSD)), American Megatrends International LLC. BIOS B760M4P04, and that may cover the important areas for whatever reason.

I would greatly appreciate any info anyone may provide regarding this elusive motherboard and I would actually locate any/all documentation for this weird motherboard. ASUS, MSI, and another PC corporation have offshoots of the B760M4-Plus variants however none are close to what's in my PC case. If all else fails, I could place it away from me about 875-900m and my SVD would sort it out quickly and with exceptional capabilities.

Again, My express gratitude for any assistance sent my way and thank you for entertaining my request for assistance.

At a guess, it's a Chinese motherboard used by cheap system builders. Not available separately at retail. Which is not to say that it is necessarily of poor quality. Documentation may not be readily available, though.

If I plug "KOLOE B760M4-Plus motherboard manual" into Copilot, I don't get plumbing. Neither do I get a link to a manual. Copilot finds your post, though.)

875-900m with a sniper rifle? Seems like a waste. ;-)

A random suggestion: try another Chinese MB label, in the hope that it's actually the same board. Example:

Best of luck.

Yes it is as I feared, PLA ChiCom foisted upon us as usual. I see why it was readily gifted by a relative to me when she upgraded her system. At best, the RGB case is worthy of an ASUS ROG mb at some point in the very near future.

I will pursue your suggestion in regards to another CHICOM MB label, this adventure could lead one to where The Monkey King may reside as well, never know where CHI will centre one at...

I deeply appreciate the info and direction that you've provided this afternoon. I shall keep you in the loop should anything positive result.

Mayhap I was a wee bit hasty regarding use of my SVD. Now that I've a direction, it'll return to its niche for now....

My response omitted the question: whaddya wanna know for?

If you can get into the BIOS, you should be able to spot things like secure boot, firmware TPM (PTT on an Intel system), etc.

It would annoy me to have no motherboard manual. But I wouldn't expect to receive one with an appliance PC (Dell, HP, etc.). I'm a DIYer, and wouldn't dream of using a motherboard with no documents in a build.

Well, here is what I've located as of now. I cannot seem to get into the BIOS presently so perhaps something may be revealed in the attachment. I've quite tossed in the towel on this one and ordered a Z790 MB to replace this CHICOM worthless, limited scope excuse for a MB. This must be some state secret the P.L.A. instigated and shipped to Western markets or something. Not to worry, I shant have any problems when this Z970 MB arrives about the middle of next week. If there is something that may provide any clues that you may see and provide further direction, do advise me please and I'll make another adventure in pursuit of solutions.

Unfortunately... it just lists the same motherboard and BIOS that you listed in the first post. :(

At least the new motherboard will have a manual.

Still assembled, still runs. Haven't turned it on for 13 years?
My response omitted the question: whaddya wanna know for?

If you can get into the BIOS, you should be able to spot things like secure boot, firmware TPM (PTT on an Intel system), etc.

It would annoy me to have no motherboard manual. But I wouldn't expect to receive one with an appliance PC (Dell, HP, etc.). I'm a DIYer, and wouldn't dream of using a motherboard with no documents in a build.
I'm totally in agreement with you regarding your point. As it was gifted (or dumped on me) it's obvious that it's of the WYSIWYG category shrouded in mystery and whatever else would give rise to no documentation included. The entrance into the BIOS eludes me for the moment and I'll sort that out later. I've a Z970 MB arriving in the middle of next week to replace this junk and have no worries thereafter. I dare say that I prefer DIY with desktop PC's as you point out your choice of the identical notion. All is as it is and Harmony and Balance once again, has been maintained. :-):party:

Generally... the DEL or F2 key will take you to the BIOS.

But as you can see from this list... that's not always the case.
The motherboards, are 2nd from the bottom.

Sadly, there is that. I do anxiously await this new one patiently and I'm still fancying the 900m solution for this mystifying MB from wherever it appeared from. I also find it remarkable that ASUS and MSI have variants of that MB currently offered on their respective website stores and including Amazon.

Indeed, BIOS keys are mostly industry standard, this one just isn't wanting to open and reveal its secrets to me. I've a very expensive Razer keyboard and there is no way it's whacked out and not operating efficiently to open a FN 2, 10, 12 keystroke. I appreciate this attachment and will place a copy in my repair files for future use.
