OK - I have close to a dozen pinned folders in File Manager's Quick Access. I don't like the order and I used to be able to reorder them - certainly in Windows 10 and I thought I could in Win 11, but - being November 03, 2023 - I CAN'T reorder them now.

No, the link from antspants suggests drag & drop, which isn't working for me. I drag it, no line appears except if I put it all the way at the top. But when I release, the pinned folder is right where it was before.

The two images from Scott shows Program Files and Videos switched. So, Scott, are you in Windows 11 and, if so, what build and if so HOW did you do it?

Again, Drag & Drop does NOT work for me in Win 11 when trying to reorganize Pinned folders in Quick Access in File Explorer.

Try left clicking and holding the folder and press the escape key. Release the left click then release the escape key.

Sorry that it didn’t help, @Bardiferously. I believe @AndreTen, above, might be onto something though. (y) 🙏

P.S. Scotts version of Windows can be seen under his avatar.

Simply left click and drag. Put the white line where you want the folder.

AndreTen, you nailed it.

But why  NOW does Show all folders prevent drag & drop of the Quick Access folders? If there's an answer, great! If not, well, there's a workaround (for now?).

At any rate, I reordered my QA folders and then re-enabled Show all folders.

Thanks to all the responded. I'm sure I'll be back with more questions about the SNAFU Windows 11 things that don't work (a) like they used to or (b) like they should!

Again, thanks. Am quite grateful. :geek:

Have no idea why.. maybe because different folder structure is shown when all folders are selected.

Anyway, glad you solved it :-)
