What do redirects have to do with cookies?

My hospital (the words you can't read because of my purple overprint) page returns this consistently in Microsoft Edge.

'Too many redirects' is a website configuration error, you may be able to fix it by deleting your cookies (as it suggests) but if not it has to be fixed by the website themselves.

The purple is transparent, it is quite readable.

Jro mate, I believe you can adjust that somewhere in the settings of snippet tool.

If you’re concerned, report your post and ask Admin if they would be kind enough to delete it.

Thank you!! It was also suggested I open the image in IfranView (an oldie but goodie I'd neglected to install on this Win11 computer) and use it to remove objectionable material...

IfranView Hint: When trying to associate filetypes with IfranView (Options/Set file associations...), "if you're trying to do this on Win 10/11 you MUST use: System Settings, Apps, Set default"... If you're trying to remember all the possible file associated file extensions IfranView can be associated with, just click on the checkbox and, while your System Settings, Apps, Set default window is up you can use the activated list to alert you to all the associations related to IfranView.

IfranView/Snippet question: What is the filetype associated with Snippets? (I'd like to open a snippet directly into IfranView.)

You can also use the built-in MSPaint to cut out areas quickly.

I don’t know why. Unless you’ve failed to setup your device camera properly. Or maybe if you’re using a Webcam to take photos?

The only time you really should take care in my opinion, is to remove any GEO location related settings in your phone camera settings, otherwise it will leave the Longitude and Latitude GEO location in the images data. This can be read.

I don’t think the image made with snipping tool is the only matter brought up in here, Jro and others possibly need to know, it’s good information to have in regards to privacy. Jro asked about IfranView. I don’t know many other reasons why you would need to edit image data?

.jpeg .png, depends on the settings in snipping tool I would suggest?
I personally think that would be a mistake. How many images out of all your images would need to have the data viewed?

It's true that geotagging was the farthest thing from my mind when I started this topic about cookies and sarcastically introduced the 'visibility' issue. At that point IrfranView and PaintPro were introduced into the conversation. And then ants found a way to make it totally fascinating by bringing geotagging into the mix.

Because my forum images so often include personal information I just thought that since the Snippet Tool generates a graphic image that the image might be of a certain format (.clp for clipboard?) and that it might be possible to automatically open that image automatically with IrfranView (or PaintPro, or...)

Right click on image, open with, select app, find the executable.
For the first time I would select just this once, to make sure it works.
Don’t quote me on those steps as I am not on my computer atm. But that is the gist of it.

As regards the Snipping tool the only Right Click items available are:
- Turn off all notifications for Snipping Tool and
- Go to notifications settings.

No Jro, you click on an image and tell it what to be opened with
Image/right click/open with/choose another app/find the irf exe
You should themn be able to choose “Always” or “Just Once”
